Madhabkunda waterfall

Madhabkunda waterfall is one of the attractive tourist spots in Sylhet. Actually it is situated at Barlekha police station in Maulvibazar district. According to Wikipedia, “Madhabkunda is the largest waterfall in Asia. Fall of billion tons of water form 2000 ft. height. Big bolder of stones and the black stones with green leafy trees and the sound of waterfall is giving a shape of care in Madhabkunda.”Thousands of tourists visit Madhabkunda every day. Especially in the holidays it becomes crowded area. The scenic waterfall and cool water of the pool will offer you to bath. Nonetheless you should not cross beyond the danger mark. Many tourists drowned at this waterfall when they crossed the danger area marked by a rope and were caught in a whirlpool. Few adventurous visitor love to trek the mount which could be life threatening.  From wherever, Sylhet or Kulaura, one visit to the Madhabkunda fall, he/she will go through the zigzag road, the hills and the picturesque tea gardens which will definitely enhance the pleasure of the excursion.
